:confused: Just got a Parasound H1200 II, with just the amp & pre on, there is a hum from both speakers (11 t's), amp connected to adcom ace 515=hum,amp to hospital grade wall outlet = hum,changed IC's = hum, swapped back to adcom 555= no hum, Help :confused::confused::confused:

    Have a cable box? That's most likely the cause. Unplug it and see if that get's rid of the problem. If it get's rid of the problem, you need a ground loop isolator.

    The hum was completely eliminated when I disconnected the cable to my convertor,, You guys are OUTSTANDING,, so the amp was "picking up interference from the cable? I'll obtain an isolator tomorrow,, any reccomendations? You guys are great--thanks again--george :):):):):D
