Have a cable box? That's most likely the cause. Unplug it and see if that get's rid of the problem. If it get's rid of the problem, you need a ground loop isolator.Brian Knauss

The hum was completely eliminated when I disconnected the cable to my convertor,, You guys are OUTSTANDING,, so the amp was "picking up interference from the cable? I'll obtain an isolator tomorrow,, any reccomendations? You guys are great--thanks again--george
