    Maybe one set of those binding posts are modified to be used instead of the interconnect cable... if not, I have no idea.

    I agree with Michael, since there is nothing to tri-wire, one of them must be the interconnect cable connection.

    Looks like they were used as a big cat scratching post. Maybe the extra binding posts were there to hold extra string for kitty to play with.

    The other set of binders may be for the PR :D
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    poor sucker who is selling them. he has them toed in :eek: amazing what some people do to their speakers. :p

    i wonder what other mods those poor speakers have been thru???

    Tri-Wiring is Bi-wiring/amping to the next degree.

    You can power the speaker in three categories...

    IE: The SRT, you could power the stereo and SDA drivers seperately, and you could also power the tweeter on its own if you so choose. It is usually for larger speakers.

    I don't see anything wrong with the mod as long as it works right???

    As for the cats, just fuels my hate for them further. :p
