Hum

I have the RMDS1 and have a rather loud hum coming from the speakers (Woofer). When I disconnect my cable tv "in" to my VCR it goes away. I bought a 75 ohm ground loop filter from radio shack and installed it in line with my cable in to the VCR. It did cut the hum down some but not nearly enough.

All my components are plugged into the same surge protector which goes into the same wall plug. Can anyone help me with this?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Get a GOOD ground loop isolator. The Mondial "Magic" is the best $99 bucks you'll ever spend, and you'll never have the issue again...it's a permanent part of my system now.
