If that is really it, I am starting to think me and HBO are close to divorce.

Nope. I am not a ZZ Top either, so I might have seen them but didn't make the connection.

As far as the Finale being suck, well, I would love to discuss what the ending should have been like: Woo delivered, guns were distributed, and...nada.

I didn't want to get into it too much, since I know several polkies were waiting for the Season 3 DVD release.
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

Thinking about it more, even if they thought there was a season 4 they really effed up the "season finale", like you said, Woo delivered, Hawkeye delivered most of what he claimed he would, and NADA, not a effing thing.

I just looked at the HBO site, they call it Season Finale, so maybe we will have a real firecracker of a start next season???????

I have to say that I was very disappointed in the finale. The worst episode to date and I've seen them all at least twice.

They're gonna have to do something to bring the show to an equitable close. Hearst just up and leaving town ain't gonna cut it, in my book.

They never said whose body was in Utter's freight shop(assuming it was Odell's), but that was what they wanted everyone to think.(My theory was the Odell, who's smarter than anyone gives him credit for, knew that Hearst would want him dead and killed the assassin and telegraphed Hearst himself..saying that Odell was dead, when it was really the assassin's body coming back to Hearst....just my conspiracy theory;) :D )

Just WAY TOO much left unanswered, even for HBO. They'll bite the bullet, pay the actors what they deserve and get at least one more season or a couple of 2-3 hour movies to obtain closure.

But it at least Hearst's true color(yellow like his gold) came through. Once he knew that his Pinkerton's couldn't protect him, not even from a bare-breasted ****, he pussed out and ran.

yeah, Jeanine...nin..nin...nin (as Cy called her)..

btw, memorable quote from last night:

TRIXIE: "I'm taking a stroll to the polls. One vote for Star buys a hand-job, repeaters get a suck."

FARNUM: "I can't engage him in further conversation! When I hear his voice I see the inside of his skull. Phantoms grin out at me leaking gruesome goo."
SWEARENGEN: "Slide this under his door then."

CY: "Go ahead now Janine and finish your latin lessons and your greek. The thrist this girl has for knowledge, she barely has time to suck a pr**k."

I cancelled HBO this morning. The finale was disjointed, but they deserve the chance to finish it properly.

Internet demand seemed to bring back Michael Shanks on Stargate. I'm not holding on to any hope for Deadwood, but who knows.

Didn't notice a gun, just the blade that stabbed Leon.

I was very disappointed in the finale. No cliffhangers, no real fighting, and no conclusions. It was not any different than any other episode.

I hope that is not the last we see of Deadwood. *sigh*

This is too funny....yes, CY was holding the teeny weeny pistol on her temple...and YES, I understand how you can missed it completely too, since (after all), she exposed "the pair", a split second after...thanks to Tivo, it was a slow motion clip for me...;)

Deadwood was never really about the action, as much as we knew both sides were building forces, I never really expected it to come to all out war. You knew our protagonists didn't want it as too many innocents could be harmed. As much as they hated Hearst, they knew it wasn't worth it.

I prefer this "life goes on" season/series finale, rather than a bloodbath with squeezed closure.
