SDA 2 interconnect question

I am going to go pick up my 2's tommorrow. They are the original 2's with three midrange drivers. I am not sure of the cable layout on the back pin/blade, blade/blade, or what. Anyway they don't come with an interconnect. I guess I am going to do an upgrade like darqueknight did on his SDA's. But in the mean time can I just poke some speaker wire in the pin socket of each speaker? That is if it is pin/blade. If it is blade/blade, then what? I am rather new to SDA's so I am clueless here. Someone help me out.

Thanks,
Todd
Setup:
Adcom GFA-545 amp
Nad 1600 pre
Dual 704 TT
Pioneer 707 R2R
Pioneer DV-578A Multi-format
Polk SDA-2 Mains

If they are pin/blace, just run a wire connecting the pin sockets of each speaker.

If they are blade/blade, you need two wires: one connecting each small blade slot and another connecting each large blade slot.
