No offense MaxxuM, but at $59.00 per 9' of Axiom cable, we're not talking high end here.Political Correctness'.........defined

I'd rather have $50 cash and a $9 cable.
Especially, since I've yet to find an aftermarket interconnect in the < $100 range that can make a measureable difference over another one. I've found that a 20hz to 20khz audio signal is not difficult to deliver over a 1-2 meter distance.
However, I still enjoy hooking up different RCA's and trying them out.

And what exactly does YOUR rig consist of PT?
I thought so. Thanks for chiming in. Time for you to go graph something, no?Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service. -
PolkThug - When are you going to forward the cables from the PCSP? There are individuals waiting on your response and shipment.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Come on Mark, give the guy a break. He's doing critical analysis of HUMAN HEARING. I'm talking **** NASA wants to know about.
Forget the fact that he's using a y adapter off his pc, a mic, and a Onkyo receiver - he's HIGH TECH! Norad type **** man. He's proven that cables all carry a electrical signal, and directly related it to human hearing perception - that **** never been done before broham.
Cheers,

I've answered that for you before. You don't need speakers to pass an audio signal through an interconnect and measure the output vs input.
I know you are more into "night and day" differences that only your ears can hear and no microphone can, and that's ok too, have fun.
You can also yap all day about how cable X has deeper bass or cable Y is brighter, but you can't prove it, and neither can anyone else in a double-blind test, and that's ok too.
Maybe some day I'll own speakers that can hear my cables, but until then I could give a **** less what YOU care about MY gear. -

None taken F1 I know I have some Flexygy in a box somewhere in the garage and I think its 200+. But until Im sure Emily isnt coming our way I dont want to start moving all the boxes around (already got the generator and vehicles in there and its a tight fit). If you are feeling a bit adventurous why not make a single CAT5 cable and compare it to what you have? Its a real pain in the a$$, but you might like it. Heres a link to the method I used, but there are many others:

MaxxuM, thanks for the suggestion and link, but I've tried enough cables to know that what I have now are the best ones for my set up.Political Correctness'.........defined

"Instead of listening to the McIntosh speakers and electronics, they recalled "bad" things they had been told about "common" speaker wire and this promoted questions about the "inferior" wire being used. When we changed the wire to a popular brand of wire, customers were happy with the setup, and directed their attention to the McIntosh equipment."
Cudos to the wire industry. Mission accomplished.
