Thank God there aren't any photos, but I was a power ranger once.

Charity event at some Hotel for kids with Cancer, and they were 2 rangers short, the red and green one. My brother in law and I were involuntarily 'volunteered'.

Yep, green tights / bodysuit, big green helmet, and big fat russ stuffed into it all. I even stopped by the local sporting goods store to get one of those wide belts, that fasten with velcro to act as a 'girdle' under the tights. I knew that was the only way I'd even have half a chance to pull it off.

I had to jump out of the elevator with the red ranger (my bro), and they said 'do karate moves and jump around while we play the theme song on the PA'.

Never felt so rediculous in my life, but the kids seemed to love it.

    Cheers,
Russ aka HK Fooey for a day

Russ put down the beer and back away slowly with your hands up. If you are drunk enough to admit that, then you are too drunk to drink anymore.

yes, and the last race, I wrecked my brain trying to help him design a very light one, to no avail. Well, at least he is proud of its look.

Why would you want a light one? It's downhill racing.

2 years in a row, all I did was put the wheels on the solid wood block, and glued a plastic 'blower' from a model car on top. Took first year 1, second year 2.

Everything no matter the weight falls at 9.8 meters / second squared. Since the only major factors would be air resistance and friction wouldn't it be better to have a lighter more aerodynamic car so that it accelerates faster due to less friction? I doubt the race track is long enough for any car of that size to reach terminal velocity. I'm also asuming that the track is a constant slope so momentum doesn't relly help much. I just thought of something.... momentum would play a factor because the aerodynamic light car would accelerate faster from less friction but would slow down easier from that friction because it doesn't have as much momentum. Bah this is why I hate physics sometimes :p

cause the winning car was very skimpy. The kid must have cut the block into halves.

hey, who let you taking a break? those boxes need to somehow get emptied and contents are nicely spread out to its intended corners...

btw, phx around this time of the year is not exactly a city that you 're going to miss.

glad to hear you arrived safely, though.

I'm not certain if that is only in a vaccuum or not but I forgot it to mention that it isn't the velocity but the acceleration of something free falling until it hits terminal velocity.
