there here! and look nicer than that picture indicated. They look really cool in Piano Gloss black. Sound great, but still have to play with placement. Makes my grunt turntable sound fantastic! thats something I did not expect.

    more to come, including pics.

my mouth still hurts from all the smiling :D

The Carver Amazing, regardless of version, is one speaker that must be owned, to be heard and experienced. A casual demo of it is basically worthless. It's a speaker that defines audio, very much like the Polk Audio SDA.

I mention ownership of the aforementioned speakers because it brings the magic into your own enviroment. If you can't enjoy something at a personal level, it holds no weight for the masses.

The CA's that resided at my house for some time received ALOT of play and I enjoyed them very much. That being said, it was time to move them along to someone else....much like the 7 pairs of SDA's I've had run around here. I love spending money on speakers that crush high dollar, boutique brands, and you can't get much better than the SDA and Carver.

There are some speaker manufacturers that have been mentioned recently in other threads, that are simply functional monkey coffins.

It's not hard for a speaker to sound good. A speaker should sound much more than it actually is physically, and the Carver Amazing is a speaker that handles that easily.

    Enjoy them.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
