Hey all, i just purchased a new pair of rti70,s to run as my front speakers, sony str-de585 is what is running them, is there any special way to hook them up or is this reciever not putting out enough to push these speakers, because they dont seem to have the full sound, and i cant hear the tweaters at all , seems like the speakers sound muffled....im stumped any help would be appreciated....these are my first polk speakers.

Make sure the jumpers are in place and snug on the speaker binding posts.

are the jumpers the gold pieces that were on the speaker posts , because i removed both , should they be put back on?

lol! YES! They connect the tweeters and woofers. The top posts are for the tweeters, and the bottom for the woofers. -
