    These guys that pull drivers, replace drivers - guess what, you don't have DQ 10's anymore. John knew what he was doing, his speakers don't need to be rebuilt, but as with most mass produced speakers - simple tweaks / upgrades only make a proven design just the slightest bit better.
    I think you guys are misinterpreting me. This set I listened to was with all the original drivers, with the woofers refoamed.

    Speaking of simple component upgrade, anyone has a list of what (polycaps/resisters??) to replace? I have 2 pairs of matching original DQ-10's and thinking about doing the upgrade? Or should I just call Regnar?

    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
