    IMO, their ES stuff is top notch.

    The Pioneer Elite is also several steps above their consumer line.

    I'm of the opinion that if brands such as Pioneer, Sony and Onkyo save their *good* pieces aka "HONEST POWER RATINGS" for their Elite, ES and Integra lines respectively- then that's ****. (with all due respect to their owners.)

    You don't see Marantz, Denon or H/K doing that nonsense.

    Just got back from CC, i guess the lightning strike worked on the reciever? I just came back with an even exchange of a Onkyo 702.

    the first 702 I got had a dead center channel so off to CC i go to exchange it for another one. Second one works without any issues. The auto calibration seems to work pretty good, i moved it around and it picked up on the difference in feet. I really havent had a chance to use it a whole lot so i cannot give any feed back on it. So far though it sounds good.
