Push tabs won't stay down

I have a PSW202. It appears that someone (me?) stepped on the wires and pulled them out of the plastic push tabs. Both tabs were on the ground, with the two small springs. I succeeded in putting them back in their slots. The tabs look and act fine until I push in the speaker pin, when they pop back out. As a result, they can't hold the speaker pins. I figure something must've broken inside or I'm doing something wrong. I'm afraid to pull out the remaining push tabs for fear of breaking them, too. Any advice? David

sorry to hear about the damage. What system are you using can you maybe run an RCA type "sub" cable from your receiver to your speakers?
