Hmmmmmm.......the stands are compelling for 300 bucks for sure.

    BDT

I've seen original stands sold here for a hundred bucks.

I'm not talking about just the stands....I'm talking stands, speakers and cable.

I'm still kinda shocked the Crs+ with stock stands hasn't sold. Listed for 300.00 for months. If anyone wants them & works with Joe (seller on Clist Maine) you might get em for less. I can pick them up & ship. I go to right by his house weekly & sometimes stop there for coffee. I can check them over & report back if needed. I can glue all magnets & box em up & ship at your expense. I would need to get packing material. Only for CP members that contribute EDIT : PM me if interested

Wow! Nice to see such generosity so frequently here on CP!

Fellow Polkies, this is an offer! Wow, pick em up, inspect em, repair em, ship em! Wow! Very nice gesture sir!

Somebody take Boston up on his offer! :)

^^^^ I've had others here do that to me. I've Karma'd a few thing here. Little things like that make this a great place.... I will be going near Joe's on Wed to get Rebecca then to Boston & also on Sunday when returning from camp. In the fall I dont go to camp as much. So if any interest - it's a hit or miss thing.

I don’t think they’re 1.2Tl’s as the seller proclaims. They appear to have a b/b IC, and the XO board faceplate fasteners qty is incorrect. Maybe gen1?

Still a very good deal, IMO!

ya know I'll play devils advocate here. Did the SRS have the SDA socket outside of the binding post cup like every other B/b speaker I have personally laid eye's on OR just maybe these are 1.2 and they had not started using the P/b socket but DID start putting it in the binding post cup like every other P/b model ? One would need to pull drivers to tell for sure.

I've never seen the SDA sockets outside of the binding post cups on the 1st gen SRS's, however, anything is possible.

Every SRS 1.2 that I have seen has a pin/blade IC socket. Could there be a transitional pair? With Polk you never know (well somebody knows, one way or the other).
