Gotta go against the odds makers. Born and raised outside Detroit.

Going to crack open the J. Walker Blue tonight.....with a fat cigar. Got to go with the Spurs for me. I can't see them losing twice at home....but if Detroit wins they will make history. No one has ever in the history won game 6 and 7 on the road in the championship. We'll see, I am on the edge of my seat....

Depends on which version of the 2 Rasheed Wallaces that show up. That guy could be the best player in the NBA if he only had his head on straight.

I'm just hoping for a competitve, close scoring game more than anything else.

If I have to choose, gimmie the Spurs by 3. 97-94

So you want the Spurs, but your betting on Detroit? Most of the Odds makers have the Spurs by 4.5 points.

    Ed Zachry.

I just want something to watch while I do shots. If one or the other starts to run away with it, I'll just hit the cave early.

74 pts. (or 81 for that matter) in a championship game is pathetic!

How do you win MVP for doing barely an average job, not to mention the FTs. I think "Timmay" is one of the most sound ballplayers of all time, but he didn't deserve the MVP this time.
Robert Horry did, and I'm not a fan of his at all. Without his performances in the last few games, there wouldn't have been a 7th game. And if he didn't do what he did at the end of the 1st qtr last night, it would have been a totally different game.

thank you... tim is a very solid ballplayer however he fell apart during the finals... that bank shot last night was horrid... if he would have made free throws in game 5 they would have blew detroit out.

I think Manu Ginobili could have been the finals MVP as well. Manu G. and Robert Horry were the glue that held the Spurs together throughout the series. TD did screw up missing free throws at times.

This series was not what I wanted at all. I am a Miami Heat fan.:(

supposively the heat are going to sign Nzir Ylzam.

he's about 7'8 and has been a strong presence in the international game averaging 30ppg,15boards,2 steals,5 blocks, and finally 7 assists per game.

if he can keep up in the NBA watch out.

I read an article somewhere, Sporting News.com maybe, that said Duncan now has to be considered as not only the greatest power forward of all time in the NBA, but that now as the best forward of any kind ever as he has now eclipsed Larry Bird.

As for Horry, he has made as many or more big time clutch shots at the most critical time as Jordan, Bird, Jerry West, Akeem, etc.

The major difference between Manu and Horry is :

What Manu was doing was expected and he did have a couple of subpar games, although he has my respect. I was very impressed with his all around game.

What Horry did was not really expected at this point in his career.
He was there mostly to provide leadership and experience, along with an occasional three. He kept them alive so that they could play a seventh game. Then he kept them in that game with 10 pts in the closing minutes of the 1st qtr when the Pistons could have opened up a huge lead.

    Just my opinion.

Agreed. Horry did make a big difference. He has been doing that all his career. All these guys have a role to play. The Bulls didn't have but two really great players (Jordan & Pippen), but everyone had a role to fill, and that is what wins rings.

I tell you what, This series put me in the mind of the finals where the Bulls and Jazz squared off. If Detroit would have won the title in San Antonio.....that would have made the parade planners look like a bunch of fools. I knew the Bulls would win in Utah, but last night until the 4th quarter, I was confused about who would win with this, being a close series and all.
