SDA Binding Posts

Greetings all!
My first post as a club member here although I've had previous and wonderful experience with Kenneth thru tech support!
I'm in need of replacement binding post nuts for my SDA-1's which btw use 1/4"x20 posts by my measurement, smaller than many others. Question is this - the only posts I see in parts that are close (by model) are the gold plated SRS posts - will these work as replacements? I wouldn't mind replacing the whole posts really if so. A previous owner of this set got some kind of black gunk on the treads and.... it would be a good excuse to go thru the crossovers and make sure there's no corrosion or loose connections. I had thought to replace the grill cloth and other things but..... imagine my surprise, I can order BRAND NEW ONES! The price is very reasonable IMHO. Thanks to anyone that can help!

The current binders from Polk are drop in replacements for the older style SDA/Monitor/RTA binders....get a pair of those and upgrade at the same time. They are stronger and more industry standard anyways.
If you're feeling cheap then just let me know as I have some spare "vintage" binders in a box that I would mail you for free.
Either way the replacement is easy.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint. -
Thanks for the quick response!
If by the SDA/Monitor/RTA you mean different parts than the SRS posts then I'll go back and look at the parts list again. The gold plated SRS posts were only 3 something apiece BTW. I think it's pretty good value for retail. Appreciate the offer of vintage on the cheap. I have a spare set of monitor11 crossovers here myself but the posts were bigger - 5/16 dia. Am I missing that they all interchange???

The parts list is basic.
I've swapped multiple pairs of vintage Polks with semi-current binders with zero problems....but I'm sure there are differences in some things. The actual binder is most likely the same, but the body may differ.
I'm only going on what I know personally.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
