    I want to believe he's just a target, but it's hard to.

    What the parents were thinking.....

    Let's get our sick child invited to Neverland to visit with MJ. You know he paid that other kid $15-20 million to drop the case. Let them get to know each other well. Have some photos and film footage taken of them together. Then BAM, let's accuse him of sexual assault. Maybe we can get ours.

    That's what I hope really happened. I have 2 young boys and I just don't want to think people are capable of that kind of sick ****, but I know better.

    Even though I'm not a fan of his, you want to hope that he couldn't/wouldn't do that to kids.

    I'm a huge fan of his music but have to agree he's a freak. But I'm very glad he was not proven guilty. I don't believe he did it personally.

    I couldn't be happier with the verdict. I knew from the getgo that something was out of place here, and when it the report about the mom sueing JC Penny and then lying to get welfare benifits, well, that was what sealed it for me. And I know they were expecting this, and now they're going to try to take everything he has in civil court. I hope their dumb asses lose there, too...

    You know who was sweatin a guilty verdict the most....

    His Umbrella holder. Seriously, how big of a demand is there in the job market for umbrella holders. Mike goes to jail, his **** is out of a job most likely permanent! To the unemployment he goes!

    ok. so a jury of his peers found him not guilty on all 10 counts.

    BUT you still gotta admit a 47 yr old man sleeping with underage boys is wrong! whether he sleeps on the floor as he claims or not.. is besides the point. it's WRONG to sleep with boys who are underage. Regardless of his well intentions. IT"S WRONG!

    that's it.. i'm just glad it's over.

    One HUGE difference, Peterson is not rich, and I do not believe for one microsecond that Mark Garragos (sp?) went all out defending him the way he would have a wealthy client. There was no way that Garragos was going to come out of his pocket to hire the kinds of high-priced expert witnesses needed to counter a strong circumstantial case like the one against Peterson.

    With regard to the Jackson case, what were they (the prosecutor's) thinking? I mean, it's next to impossible to convict wealthy, celebrity defendants on murder charges. What made them think they could take MJ down on a "molestation" rap with plaintiffs who had serious and well documented credibility issues? Maybe they were counting on the jury making a leap of faith to conviction because of Jackson's eccentricities and general wierdness.

    One plausible explanation is the "arrested development" theory from psychology. Accordingly, it is not difficult to understand why a 47 year old man with the mind and emotions of an 8 year old would enjoy sleepovers with little boys and would choose to live in an amusement park. I'm not surprised that there are no girls allowed to his pajama parties. Most boys in early childhood consider girls to be "icky".

    California isn't the problem -- the entire American judicial system is a joke. Who said trial by a jury of your "peers"was a fair process anyway? If that's the case, the jury should have consisted of children.:p

    Anyway, Michael clearly has a problem. His problems are still not being addressed. IMO, it's a travesty of our society to let him walk free and clear.

    Why didn't sir Paul buy them anyway? He certainly has the dinero to buy them. I doubt MJ will let those go. I'm sure it was a investment for him. I"m sure it's paid off very well over the years.

    I think he WON'T just let them go... but he has USED IT to get loans... he won't be able to pay them off therefore the banks will take it and it will get paid off somehow.

    Paul and Michael were good friends... until Michael went and did that... I guess Paul was going to buy it but then Michael told him he did....


    In a way I'm happy he got off... but then again if he did do it... which he did... it doesn't serve any justice...

    The prosecution was too extensive and it just had "I want to put this scum away" written all over it... it was stretched out... something like 100 search warrants... that **** is a little too much to bring to the table without looking like an obsessed moron in someones' fate....
