I saw the Moody Blues in 2000, I think... they were promoting their new album. rush did the Vapor Trails tour most recently...
edit- woops... see the moody blues were already mentioned. Just put me down for Rush, then
True, Rush! I don't see how I could have forgot them. Someone also else mentioned Cheap Trick.
As I said, there's more than can possibly think of, but a couple more I remebered:
Lynard Skynard
REO Speedwagon
Kansas
Is Foreigner still around? -
Another oldie, but goodie I can't believe I forgot, Alice Cooper!
Edit- yet another, Grand Funk! -
Marker- Foreigner is around, but I'm not sure if they've released any albums lately. Here's from their website:
Reunited in 1992, Lou and Mick wrote three new songs for the next generation Greatest Hits album "The Very Best and Beyond". Then, in 1993, after some seven years with no new releases, the band was again reformed with Mick and Lou and Bruce Turgon on bass and Jeff Jacobs on keyboards. An album of new material, "Mr. Moonlight" was soon released. The album produced, yet again, another top ten single "Until The End of Time".Ludicrous gibs! -
Thanks nadams. I hadn't heard of anything about them in a while. I wondered if they had called it quits.
A few more I've thought of:
Yes
Allman Bros.
Doobie Bros.
Bob Seger
Edit- yet some more:
Tom Petty
David Bowie
Peter Frampton
