Hey, if he's giving something away, he gets to make the rules. Over 500 posts means you've probably been here for a while and have theoretically given something back. Yeah, there are some low count posters that are solid, but if he makes one exception....
There is no genuine justice in any scheme of feeding and coddling the loafer whose only ponderable energies are devoted wholly to reproduction. Nine-tenths of the rights he bellows for are really privileges and he does nothing to deserve them. We not only acquired a vast population of morons, we have inculcated all morons, old or young, with the doctrine that the decent and industrious people of the country are bound to support them for all time.-Menkin

I take it patience isn't one of your virtues. You've been here less than three months. Stop whining, or do you get so much free stuff at your other forums that you are spoiled now?

Why can't some people just let things go. I was disappointed that I could not join in on this one, but I read the rules, saw that I did not qualify, said to myself well heck, and moved on. There are ten thousand other reasons to hang around this sight other than looking for free stuff. I have learned alot, been entertained, bought stuff, given stuff away(I can't help it UPS lost it, sorry Spasticpitbull), helped people and wasted time here. I don't think I want to give all that up just becasue someone wanted to make sure his mystery gift went to someone who he thought had a better than average chance of sticking around here.

    Thanks,
    Todd

P.S. Good luck to those that do qualify.

Man I was just thinking back on all the funny stuff I've seen on here. We've probably got dozens on entire threads that would qualify as classics...

I wondered when THAT was going to come up? I just get tired of expressing an opinion and then other’s blowing it way out of proportion and responding in (this case) an inappropriate manner. I know words on a screen can take on a life of their own when they are interpreted incorrectly. My comment wasn’t because I wanted the “free” stuff I just wanted know why I couldn’t have a fair shot at it too. I guess I’ll just bide my time, try to increase my posts and hope in the future I’m considered worthy. (take tongue and firmly put in cheek).

Hey, I'm wanting to feel discriminated against too. Just can't bring myself to be there. I realized some time ago that because I read more than I post here I might miss out on some of the benefits. I know I really should post more and will try to do so even at the risk of exposing my ignorance.:D

Otherwise I can't wait to see what you've offered up to those who qualify.

Oh, and THANK-YOU for the karma!!:)

You could have just said that to begin with rather than spewing all the crap you did in your earlier post. It was uncalled for at that point, IMHO.

Why is it that you have to work for anything in this world? Why can't you just have it? "I wan't my 20 year anniversary even though I've only been with the company 12 minutes" "I wan't your job even though I'm not qualified" "I have to pay for this chilli dog?" Or how about this. The FACT we discriminate against children by not letting them vote. The FACT we give senior citizens discounts on coffee and a danish, while aggressively discriminating against the younger crowd. The FACT that those parking meters downtown discriminate between people who need an hour and 59 minutes and the ones who need two hours and one minute. WHY GOD..WHY!! Life is even tougher in the 'big' condescending club.

Uh, dude you're the one that started this thread in the wrong direction...I suggest you go back and read all the posts...

Go back and read the info in the first thread that got this karma thing started...

You're giving away your stuff...you can make whatever rules you want. If I want to say that only people living in Texas or only those driving a Toyota are in my karma, that's my choice because it's my stuff I'm giving away...I can set whatever requirements I like.

If he wants a post minimum, that's his decision, and you don't need to be bashin it publically.

You said he should have said that to begin with...I say he shouldn't have to explain himself in the first place...your first post in this thread was ENTIRELY out of line...you're at fault here...

I can't believe the self importance that goes on here. Of course you are never wrong and apparently not even willing to consider it. You are right......It's your thread and apparently you don't feel you have to act like an adult human being. If we were not doing this by anonoymous e-mail my guess is you would have acted more civily, but in cyber-space you can act anyway you want and justify it anyway you want. Feels good doesn't it?

I don't WANT, EXPECT, WISH, to get anything for free. That wasn't the issue I was raising, but you apparently can't get your small little head around that and want to continue to rant about NO FREE LUNCHES. etc. Good for you for offering something for free. Based on this thread it seems way out of character for you.

Normally I try real hard not to attack someone on a personal level, but hey you threw the first fireball.
