Not the funniest perhaps, but a CP classic thats for sure.

This one's not old, but after seeing the add, then reading the comment, I really got a kick out of it:

Ran across this one from Russman

In my youth, I had to take care of a friends hermit crabs while his family was on vacation, he had 3 or 4 of em. I don't remember actually having to do much to them, but one did die.

I grabbed that effer by one of his legs, opened the front door, and punted him like a football into the street.

    Cheers,
    Russ

    "Actually...
I have had quite a few issues putting speakers in other cabinets. I am currently testing which is better, the microwave, or the cabinet.

The glass door on the microwave isn't as transparent as the wood doors on the cabinets, but the low end is so much more 'punchy'.

However, I have been testing more, and if you will notice in the pic, the can of SpaghettiOs with Sliced Franks on top of the left KEF acting as an 'isolator'. I think I may have tightened up the low end enough to finally settle on this setup. I initally tried adding 1 can of BBQ flavored Vienna Suasages at a time, but I think the single 16oz can of Franco-American goodness works best.

    Thank you, and good night!

    Cheers,
    Rooster"

    Thanks:
    2. i am going to write my congressman to try to get a law passed to make manufacturers be upfront and completely honest with everything they sell wheather it be speakers or recievers or seperates as far as i am concerened i was very mislead everyone i have talked to cannot make up their mind and give me a straight answer everyone passes the buck onto someone else.

    3. it is not crutchfield fault that polk did not disclose all relevent info on these speakers and then again it is crutchfield fault to not allow free return if thier was a misleading statement. i knew in my gut i should have stayed with bose they are the best and they are all completely usa made and they are honest.

I do not believe i will buy from polk again do to the run around and catch 22 situation and red tape.

Loud & Clear talking about a flight simulator.

"I have a setup that's remarkably similar to that one; the difference being that mine presents the user with a panoramic simulation of hard-core bestiality ... you're right in the middle of the herd and all bets are off! I can tell you that there's nothing like running down an Emu in your forevision, all the while keeping tabs on movements of some soon to be had Zebra's, 90 degrees to your right!"

while it's not exactly cool to quote yourself.. i had to.. looking back it was pretty dang funny.

    link to funny thead

    first post was from me...

    read on..

    "binding posts
okay so this was suppose to be the big weekend to bi wire my 800i's.. but instead spent an hour + just getting the cap drilled out from the 5 way binding posts.
first off. the cap itself came off flawlessly. but that wasn't the end of it.. then you have to drill out the center core of the darn thing.

Before I had the speakers hooked up using bare wires.. not a problem. then got the brilliant idea of why don't I bi wire them with banana plugs to save time and they'll look better too. Well easier said than done.

After you remove the plastic cap you then have to drill out the center core. if you don't.. it will sink down then you won't be able to use bare wires or banana plugs. It's screwed up!

I know why the caps are there..for the European market.. but for the US market.. why not sell them without the caps? For the sake of my sanity... rethink this for future US sales.
peace, now where are my drill bits? "

    now i'm in.
