Anyone into vintage Yamaha gear?
Up for sale is a Yamaha CDX-1100 CD player with remote control. This was Yamaha's top of the line CD player in 1987. It features 4x oversampling and coaxial digital output. Analog outputs have a variable volume control from the remote and unit face. The unit features extensive chassis damping and copper shielding. It weighs nearly 31 pounds.
It is in excellent functional condition. I would rate the cosmetic condition as 7/10. There are a few minor nicks in the faceplate. There is a small dent in the bottom right corner of the face plate and a small dent in the "fast forward" button courtesy of UPS. The CD drawer mechanism belt was recently replaced to ensure continued smooth operation.
Price is $100.00 which includes double-box shipping to anywhere in the continental United States. I will not ship outside of the US. I prefer payment by money order. Personal check is o.k. if we have done business before. Interested individuals can send a PM or email to "darqueknight88@hotmail.com".
Original manual included.
Folks that don't know me can check my feedback on eBay and Audiogon. I have the same username there as here.
Orion Bluebook value for one in mint condition is $180. eBay and Audiogon selling prices range from $125 to $150.
