Soldering RCA Connectors to Subwoofer Cable

My new house came with a 5.1 in wall wiring setup. However none of the cables have connectors, I guess this is for the owner to customize.
My question is, does a subwoofer cable (coax?) have a negative and a positive? Or is it just one wire and you just solder only one connection to each RCA connectors?
Thanks

Liberity makes really nice ends for coax design. The tools are expensive. I suggest you do a F to RCA setup. Go to Radio shack and purchase a coax stripper, crimpers , F connector and a F to rca connector.
