To make way for some high tone 2ch.

Got the Sunfire Classic Vacuum Tube Preamp yesterday from our pal hoosier21 yesterday. PRISTINE condition.

The only thing cooler than the preamp is the sound that it produces.

Snapped a couple of quick pics....

    Thanks guys,

I LOVE the wood floors. LOVE 'em. I think the SDA's like the 'lively' room MUCH more than the old.

Can't wait for you guys to come back and hear them again. The old setup isn't even in the same area code as it is now.

Looks good, replace the 1985 wood-tone/brass ceiling fan, and you're on your way.

    Heh, heh, heh....

Nope, they are still there. They will operate off a second amp (audiosource)...I will be hooking them up (as in the mailman JUST delivered it) to a dynaco quadaptor. I've got the second set of outputs going to the audiosource so I'll wire the rears to that (but not wire them out to the 2.3tl's so I can just turn on that amp for surround ONLY). The outdoor speaks are wired to the 'B' terminals.

Always check around first before buying. You could've taken the spare Quadaptor I have off my hands. It belonged to Leonard Feldman (the late, great, audio reviewer and engineer) at one time.

That yellow in the kitchen is going to give me a headache during my morning coffee and smoke. I guess you didn't think about THAT either. Selfish.

How far apart are your SDA's and how far is your sitting position from them? They look really close in the pic, but it is often hard to tell in that kind of a picture.

Do you move them (or your chair) when doing more than casual listening?

    Just curious.
