Anyhow,
Sounds like you where rushing at the tweeter store. I'm suprised you got 2 different colors. I have Installed many pairs of 15's and never ran into that. The boxes are clearly marked as well as left and right.
Good luck with yur new speakers,

I just picked up the lsi15's. I was deciding between the 15's or 25's. Tweeter ran a polk authorized sale, basically 10% off. When comparing the two, I thought the 15's presented the music more naturally ,and had smooth musical bass response, the 25's were more in your face with the projected amplified low bass, that sounded fake ( to me) in comparison. So for the price , I think i could possibly get the 25's sound from adding a decent sub with the 15's. I have a good M&K 12inch 200w sub and have not even felt like turning it on (yet), the 15's sound that musical. The 9's sound beautiful, however nothing is cooler than a polk tower full range speaker .... call me old school, because..... i am old school......big speakers, yeah man. Anyway, thats why i cracked open my wallet for the 15's.

Eugene, congrats!
I am enjoying the heck out of my LSi15, they do both music and movies very well. My new LSi15/LSi9 system has a lot more punch and presence on movies than the previous Lsi9/Lsi7 system (I used tweeter's upgrade policy to up the 7s to 15s), and the 15's do an excellent job in 2ch duties without a sub (they did need some burn-in, though). I did like the 25's a lot when I auditioned the LSi line, perhaps they weren't set up well when you heard them? Anyways, the 25's were a bit too big, heavy and expensive for me so I went with the 15s. I agree that the look of the 15/25 is just too damn cool! They have a very impressive presence in my room.
...I wish I had gotten in on the sale, thoughTannoy Dimension TD10, SOTA Star Sapphire, Heathkit W4A's, McIntosh MC2100, Eddie-Current Zana Deux, Singlepower SDS, Sennheiser HD650, Audio-Technica L3000, Sony Qualia 010 -
Thanks ... my Mother was over today and she even liked the modern look of the 15's.
The sales person told me they turn the subwoofers up high, most customers like to hear that punch, so i bet you are correct about the set up of the 25's. We have to buy, , 3k speakers now to use the tweeter upgrade policy.. ha ha thanks again and congrat on your system as well. -
I was all eager to drop my rti-10's and get the lsi 15's.. I think I shall wait until the lsi line gets updated, it's four years into its run already. There are some things about the lsi towers look i don't like: the downfiring port and the four legs fused to the base look unappealing to me and the sandwiched sides not running to the top don't float my boat as well... So, I am happy that nobody wanted to give me a fair value for my 10's, they are not that bad anywany. I will update when I really find something I like and not when I am overcome by an irrational urge... Don't quote me on this though..The greatest enemy of truth is very often not the lie - deliberate, contrived and dishonest - but the myth - persistent, persuasive and unrealistic.
