Hey, I was thinking about purchasing the CS 400i and I saw that the depth on that sucker is like 14". My 32 inch HDTV SONY has only about 9 inches of room in depth on the top of the monitor. Any suggestions on how to get that speaker on there or any other ways I could use that speaker???

It's a big boy but you can get it on the Sony.Just use the rubber feet that it comes with and put them on so the speaker sits slightly over the front of the tv,put the back feet on so they grab the back of the top of the Tv.It should work as I have a Panasonic superflat and has about the same depth, this is what I did and it's been there for over a year.

ive had my cs400i sitting on top of our 43" sony rptv for almost 2 years and i might have less room then you (without mesuring)
and it has not moved. but i have the little rubber feet on all corners and they tend to grip and hold it on.

A little of the listed depth is due to the Power Port assembly that sticks out from the back of the speaker. I just measured mine, and the actual size of the flat bottom of the speaker is about 11-1/2", not counting the grille. The sucker is heavy, too: If you put those rubber feet on it, in a short period of time it'll probably "stick" in place.

It is chunky, but it's a great-performing center speaker. You'll be happy with it.

Yes, like Mantis said, it's just a matter of spacing the rubber feet to make it work, but it WILL work. Good luck, it's an excellent performer, that CS400i.
