A wise man once said, I feel like a **** in the boucny balls... and I think that describes me now.

If my mom strangles me when I let her know I got them, any takers? haahaa

    Jm Lab baby!

Good choice, and good price. Those are current production models, that go for $650/pair new.

What are you running on the back end (or what do you plan to run?) Those Focal tweeters are VERY detailed, you really need either a tube pre, or tube amp. Get tubes in the mix SOMEWHERE.

    Cheers,
    Russ

    Russ,
I'll probably stick them on the carver amp I'm getting. This system will either go in my room and I will move the HT into the living room, or I will just put this new system in the living room. I don't know **** about tubes, can I afford a tube pre? Probably not for a while after this lol.

The Carver amp is a GREAT start. Yes, you can afford a tube pre.

Tube pusher? Nah, High Fidelity ****? Sure.

I agree, warm them up with tubes. Nice grab on a definition bookie.

I think Bear is ready to step up into the MLP, so perhaps you can work something out.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Can you still crank it with a tube pre? I do like it fairly loud.

Sweeeeeet, did he let the stands go with, or are you gonna have to grab a new set for em? They look like they can definantly sing.

Yup stands are included. It seems as if he is selling off his entire system because he has other auctions for a classe amp and preamp. You can tell they are from the same system from the pics. The stands look pretty nice. I guess without the stands I only paid like $$350 or something for the speakers.

Here are the pics... I'll wait a little while to write the review because the guy said he only had about 10 hours total on the speakers so they aren't broken yet. Plus I'm still in the honey moon period and I don't want to rant and rave only to hate them in a week (though I doubt that will happen).
