I put a claim through pay/pal, they were slow and pretty much worthless, I found them poor to communicate with, the only reason I ended up "getting" my money back was because I filed with my CC company, they also got no response from paypal so after 30 days my CC account was credited with the amount I had paid. Paypal then froze the sellers and made him pay them, however, if I had not initiated the action through the CC company I would of been up the creek as they say.

Good Luck, IMO e-pay and their company paypal pretty much bite.
Sure hope the seller comes through for you.

Be careful, that check may bounce, if you ever get it!

The guy is a loser deserving at least a neutral feedback if the item arrives as advertised.

See how quick people respond when their accounts are frozen?

Let this be a lesson for the future, that AS SOON AS you start feeling uncomfortable with a purchase to take action, not over 3 weeks later.

Yeah, most Ebay rats eventually get scared and send what they're supposed to. :D

Thanks to all who commented on this situation....It's been good therapy but the story continues..........

Remember he said he forgot to send the item, this after 3 weeks of ignoring e-mails. He said he would ship it 1st thing this last Monday. Well guess what? I still don't have the item and he just sent me a tracking number yesterday. I went to the UPS site and the item hasn't been scanned yet. It says:

"Billing Information Received: UPS has received the electronic transmission of package detail from the shipper. It does not necessarily mean that UPS has taken possession of the package"

So far the f***er hasn't taken the physical package to be shipped. If he did they would have scanned it at the point of origin.

So my PayPal complaint is still pending, 10 days without a response he automatically defaults. The 10 days is up on the 27th. So far no response to the complaint.

I also reported to Ebay that his contact info is either incomplete or outdated since the phone number he provided to them 6 years ago is disconnected.

If I don't get any satifaction thru PayPal/Ebay I'l be taking him to small claims court and he will pay additional court costs and my expenses to and fro and a days salary if I have to take off work. I'm still looking into all the procedures for that.

    Life sure is Grand sometimes........

I wouldn't worry so much. That happens all the time with UPS, especially if he took it to someplace like the UPS Store or Mailboxes, Etc.

The info goes into the system, but it doesn't get "scanned" until the driver gets the package back to the UPS sorting facility.
I'd check over the weekend, it should change and show progress. If not, there may be a problem.
