    okay...need some help.!

I want to hook up my LSi`s to the Rotels

Can I bridge the amp on the LSiC..?
    It`s a 4 ohm speaker

The reason behind this is that the AVR has one output for the center channel

so I put one I/C into the left channel, and fliped the bridged switch to make it play both channels..

should I get out the fire exstinguisher ?

The manual for my Rotel RB-980BX says "DIN power output is 220WPC (1kHz, 4 ohms, 1% THD)". Does that help? I don't know DIN is.

    They aint no SDA's...

Great sound but in a different way. Talk about a speaker that needs a particular room. I thought the SDA's were a setup nightmare until I played with the Amazings. :)

No problems here, they are perfect so far.....I haven't had a speaker that didn't sound great in this room yet....well, at least to me.

I'm burned out on SDA's....need a long break.

I guess what got me was that for whatever was wrong with placement the solution ended up being the opposite required with the SDA's. Very strange speakers. Once I got them set up right I thought they were equal but in different ways compared to the SDA's. A slight change in toe in or in angle changed everything. Much like F1 I ripped them apart after a few days to upgrade and they are still that way. :D

Shack - Yea....and my back hurts.

Beardog - Carver Amazings(Original-Piano)....Jesse has the next series, Platinum(Piano)....and George has the Platinum MkIV(Oak). I think TroyD and I have the same ones?...we couldn't remeber.

Two 30 inch ribbons and 4 12" woofers per cabinet. The bass is pronounced but not at all bloated, which I was real happy about. The high end is fantastic....it was an easy transition from the Magnepan's to these, also much to my enjoyment.

    Sorry to derail.

Tour - Yea, it doesn't care who it plays with. The gain is a little low on my pre now, but I'll just bump that up with a tube change.

Bear - I know exactly what it's like, and I'm still into speakers, but you need to branch out. A few key Polks is all you ever need for inventory and fun....an SDA, a Monitor 7 or 10 and an RTA12.

Three completely different approaches from Polk that define the vintage era IMO.

My wife's comment to seeing the Amazing's...."Hideous"....my comment to her "Excellent".
