Hello,
My friend and I wanted to hear the new Lsi line as both of us are lookin to upgrade our speaker's(I have all Polk's and He has RBH but a PSW1200 sub).So we went to the closest place, it was 66 miles away and on the northeast side of New Jersey in a Town called Hazlet. They where off rt36.The place was called Interstate Electronic's.They had the Lsi line as well as the rest of Polk's line. The place was dark and crammy inside as they had to much grear all over the store.I had with me SACD,DVD-AUDIO, as well as normal cd's.I sat infront of the Lsi15's,that's really what I wanted to here anyway, and cool enough they were using my new dvd player, the Pioneer Elite dv47a.I plays SACD,DVD AUDIO, and is 12 bit Progressive scan Pure cinema progressive.I currently own the rt10000p's as mains and I'm considering the new Lsi line to replace my whole 7.1 speaker system.I had the salesman bring in a pair of rt1000i's so I could A-B them.Well the Lsi 15's are smooth laid back sounding, clean and very deep.I ran the rt1000i's and the sound quality dropped off some and everything was up front. But imaging goes to the rt10000i's.They image beter then the Lsi15 do.But the Lsi 15 sound much better.
As I was in the store I noticed alot of Jay and Silent Bob stuff, they had all the movies.I asked the salesman If he had seen any of Kevin Smith's movies and he said he seen them all. Then he hit me with this......"you know if you take rt36 down about 5 to 6 miles ,you will be able to visit the Quick stop and RsT video store from the movies".I said It's right down the street????He said ALL DAY .I had to go, leaving my demo behind as I'm a big Kevin Smith fan. What's even funnier that my friend and I just got done watching Jay and Silent Bob strike back a couple of day's before.I got there and It look's exactly like the movie Clerks and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.I had to touch the outside of the Rst Video store where they hung out.The inside was the same as well,It didn't look like they changed anything for the movies.I got a Quick stop pen,bag and 2 soda's(coke's) for memories.Very cool trip as it took us an hour to get over there from Phila,PA.
Simply we will be going back over there for the next Demo in Lsi as it got cut off short. But I will have to go to the quick stop again.\

So let me get this straight: you ditched your LSi demo in favor of Jay and Silent Bob? Man, where are your priorities? So, are you going to be comparing the LSi15 to the Vienna Acoustics Beethoven? I'm interested to hear more on that (and a more in-depth LSi15 review when you go back).

I'm sorry to say that the Lsi 15 do not hold a candle to the Vienna line.Different class all together.I think that the Lsi line will do great against other speaker's in it's class,I will go as far as putting them up against B&W cdmnt line as well as Dynaudio audience line, but not Vienna.

Can you shed some light on this statement?

Hopefully that's not just conjecture on your part right? You've actually done some listening and possibly some A/B comparisons of both?

I've heard otherwise from my listening experiences and research on the LSis.

FYI.. The Vifa XT tweeter in the LSis is the same one that's used in the $40,000pr Krell Lat-1 speaker....

    But to each his own.
