It's funny I loved that car until I got to drive one. Getting to 88 miles per hour took forever. I worked for a Chevy dealer while I was in college as a lot guy and we traded one in on a new vette. I had the pleasure to drive it to the gas station to fill it up and I was depressed that it was slower then my firebird I owned at the time.
I loved the movie and fell way in love with the car. Man 80.... shame he didn't last to 88.

It may bear his name but in reality his stainless steel creation will always take a backseat to his real masterpiece......
Thank you John Delorean for the GTO and the birth of the musclecar."Just because youre offended doesnt mean youre right." - Ricky Gervais

Now that is one sweet GTO!

It's a shame the car that became known for his name and the ego driven cocaine sting, foreshadow his earlier work in the automotive industry. Nice catch ShackCTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Couldnt agree more Shack.
The GTO is perhaps the baddest car of all time. I personally prefer the '70 Judge like the one that was in 2 Lane Blacktop. Anybody rememeber that one?polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005
