Loved it! One the best animated films to date. Monster bass and great picture quality. I will be watching this one again soon. I recommend this one for anyone who has kids, or is a bass freak. Most pixar films won't let you down when it comes to sound and picture quality, and this is one of the best IMO.:D

I figured that one out a LONG time ago, I will take the kids to see one at the theatre but there is nothing that says I have to enjoy it. I am definantly on the I can wait bandwagon.

Took the kids to the theatre to see it and thought the sound just flat out sucked, jbl system with zero bass. Somebody needs to get in the biz of tweaking these after they have been inststalled by a bunch of halfwits. I know this I finally enjoyed it after getting it to the house, the 5 year old thinks he can run that fast.....it's pretty comical watching him run through the house as fast as he can.

There are some pretty darn good theaters here in NYC. I saw The Incredibles digitally projected in a theater with great sound. The only thing was that it was too loud. Real reference level is fine in a large theater like The Ziegfeld, but ni a moderately-sized theater like the one I was in, it was a bit overboard. What's nice is that I can get my home theater at just the right volume where things ar loud when they need to be, but still comfortable.

NYC...man we went to see a movie there...

Thing was the size of a school auditorium, probally could seat 5-6,000 people...

    absolutely huge..

Had the best sound I've heard in a theater as well, and tons of bass, filled up that entire theater...amazing...

I wouldnt mind seeing this movie in it either
    - Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

I know what you mean. That's why I started going to this new theater down the way from me that only has Klipsch speakers. Much MUCH better theater speaker over JBL. Plus, all AMC's in Kansas City have switched to Klipsch as well...

The lil' lady was watching this movie the other night, at far from reference levels, I was in the other end of the house puter surfing, and holy crap! The SVS was set at maybe 10 o'clock, but I thought it would explode.
Some guy over at the HomeTheaterForum was writing to say he'd bottomed out his SVS on this movie.
I may have to watch it now.

Yup, that on will bottom out the SVS's with the high pass filter disengaged. Gonzo might crush his house there.

YUPPERS me Too. I have not heard the clacking for a long time and when it happened again for me over the weekend(just shy of reference) I was astonished.

I posted this a long while back but I believe its the LFE preamp my h/k 520 that clips causing the subs some periodic pain.

Well, finally last night I got a chance to tryout this movie. Whoa, nothing short of Incredibles, indeed. It's a constant workout for my Velo DD. Definitely a great test DVD to push the limit of your sub.

Btw, pics are amazingly detailed, and vivid. Face expressions are very lifelike. Another kudos to the boys at Pixar!
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.
