My grandpaw is in the ICU currently...
He has caught a virus, I cant remember the name exactly as it is french.
It basically attacks the nerves, and it starts at your feet and works its way up to the brain, shutting down your body from bottom to top.
Currently, he has no control/strength in his legs pretty much, he can still move them, he just dosnt know what is going on around them...
The next 3 days will depict whether or not his lungs will shut down, as they hope the virus will 'peak' before it reaches that point. If the virus does indeed peak before it reaches the lungs, he will be removed from the ICU - but when he will be able to walk again, months to years...they are not sure...
So any prayers...any at all...are appreciated...
