I'm thinking seriously about getting one of these. I'm so tired of my local FM stations.

Didn't seem like much of a review on the first page... sort of like everything else out there... THEN you read the second and third page. Nice to see a thorough review instead of "they sent it to me, they advertise with my magazine/website/etc, it will be a good review.Brian Knauss

After owning this tuner for 3-4 months, one thing I have noticed is that it definitely benefits from some "warm-up" time. It sounds best after about an hour of being on.
Placebo effect? I don't know. I do know it seems to sound better after warming up. Don't have one yet but I've found most equipment to change sound over the first hour whether it be tube or SS.

Avantgarde horns, 300b tubes, thats the kinda crap I want... -
Was told by my local HI fi dealer that Yamaha will have XM tuners in the soon to be released models. FYI

I installed one yesterday and it's a fine piece.
Buit quality is nice , sound quality is better then the average Xm radio components. I also like the fact there is descrete power on and off codes.
