I know what you mean. I tried Straightwire Chorus' and it only took about 10 seconds to realize I wanted my AQ Copperheads back in the system.Source: Bluesound Node 2i - Preamp/DAC: Benchmark DAC2 DX - Amp: Parasound Halo A21 - Speakers: MartinLogan Motion 60XTi - Shop Rig: Yamaha A-S501 Integrated - Shop Spkrs: Elac Debut 2.0 B5.2

Straightwire is a popular cable maker and the "Chorus" is one of their interconnects.Source: Bluesound Node 2i - Preamp/DAC: Benchmark DAC2 DX - Amp: Parasound Halo A21 - Speakers: MartinLogan Motion 60XTi - Shop Rig: Yamaha A-S501 Integrated - Shop Spkrs: Elac Debut 2.0 B5.2

I owned the Straight Wire Chorus 2m interconnects and I didn't like em. They went out as fast as they came in...

My personal quest is to save to world of bad audio, one thread at a time. -
Thats the same experience I had w/them. They sounded "hashy" to me; no seperation of instruments, and the high-end was grainy.Source: Bluesound Node 2i - Preamp/DAC: Benchmark DAC2 DX - Amp: Parasound Halo A21 - Speakers: MartinLogan Motion 60XTi - Shop Rig: Yamaha A-S501 Integrated - Shop Spkrs: Elac Debut 2.0 B5.2

I know what you mean Trey, I have a love / hate relationship with the Cable Demo Program. You play with better cables and you realized just how **** your cables where. I have since just fell in love with AudioQuest now own the Diamondbacks interconnects and the Bedrock speaker cables. So this hobby just never ends

Don't worry, I'll just prove that what you heard was psychoacoustics and you can be happy again.

I think I am going to do the "Coral" thing, but later this year. I really hate to mess with success, I like the Copperheads.Source: Bluesound Node 2i - Preamp/DAC: Benchmark DAC2 DX - Amp: Parasound Halo A21 - Speakers: MartinLogan Motion 60XTi - Shop Rig: Yamaha A-S501 Integrated - Shop Spkrs: Elac Debut 2.0 B5.2

You'll like the Corals even better. I started with Copperheads and ended up with Corals where it matters most. I still have plenty of Copperheads on all three of the amps in my HT system and even on the sub. I got them from Audio Advisor's clearance section a while back. Still got Kimber Heros on the 2-channel system, though. Not very much difference at all between Corals and Heros, IMO.HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50 LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub

Is Corals & Heros part of Audioquest current lineup? If old lineup where do they fit in on the current lineup?
Side note, as anyone compared Diamondbacks to Cobras to Jaguars.
