Does anybody have an opinion on the following CL3 rated cables?

Belden 5100UP 2C/14#
Belden 5000UP 2C/12#
Colbalt UL-CL3 2C/12#

Does anybody have any other recommendations CL3 rated cable/wire?

Analysis Plus also makes an in-all 14awg. Belden has a good reputation, albeit mostly commercial installation. I'm not familiar with cobalt.

Beldon makes wonderful Inwall cable. Another brand you can take a look at would be Liberity. I actually perfer Liberity over Beldon. I like the way there boxes pull. Good quality wire for a great price per box.

Well, I have now heard it all...and with spelling errors to boot.

Of the 3 aforementioned brands, its a wash, get whatever you can find at the best price.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

we use liberty wire at work for my custom installers and they all love it for the price. I guess it's much better than the Monster inwall. I personally am running all cobalt cables in my system but I don't have any inwall wire. Everything else is top notch though!

Just wondering as to what price you have found for the Belden cable? Both the 14 and the 12 AWG.

I was able to find the Belden cable at a local electrical distibutor for the following prices:

    Belden 5100UP 2C/14# - $0.20/ft
    Belden 5000UP 2C/12# - $0.27/ft

There is one catch. I would have to order in bulk. There is an minimum order of either 500' or 1000'. I only need around 250', so I don't know what I will do.

Another option. You can get 100' spools of IXOS CL3 wire here:

I use IXOS in wall for my surrounds in my HT.

"Laissez les bon temps rouller!" and welcome to the boards:)
