I happen to work at a nice retailer as a home theater salesperson, so myself and my co-workers are CONSTANTLY looking for great sounding demos. I recently pick up the Phil Collins disc mentioned above and we were all blown away by it. Everything about the recording seems perfectly balanced. HEAVILY RECOMMENDED.

The sounds is absolutely terrible on that DVD
Well, I wouldnt exactly call it terrible. It sounded live to me. Most live recordings arent known for their superb sound. Although I dont have that superb of a home audio system so I may be talking out of my arse here.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005

Yeah Mac the LSFNY is not that great in the audio department. The sound is to low, and no 5.1 mix. I set my receiver to 5 channel stereo and let it rip.
But it does not mean it's not a great dvd. That was my only complaint about the whole thing. The best thing about the dvd IMO is the extras. Listening/watching "A Change of Season's", "Learning to Live" and "A Mind beside Itself" was so worth the price of the disk.:) -

Cheap Trick- Silver 25th anniversary show. My hometown boys put a great show here in Rockford. Great cross-section of songs. One of Americas great rock-n-roll bands. You wont be disappointed.
Led Zeppelin DVD. Nothing to say, speaks for itself
Norah Jones-Live in New Orleans. Amazing sound, great video work, this was recorded right before she hit it big and sometimes she seems a bit shy and awkward. Great stuff.
No Doubt-Rock Steady DVD. This is what I call a high-energy band. Gwen is awesome, her voice is great and the band is so tight, they just rock.
King Crimson-Eyes Wide Open. If you are a fan of Progressive rock this 2 DVD set is a must have. The sound is absolutely stunning. If youre not a fan you should watch this DVD anyway. A bunch of talented musicians.
Stevie Ray Vaughn-Live in Texas and Live in Montreaux. No frills video, but awesome showmanship and excellent sound. Montreaux is bit more raw sounding, which I like because its more realistic. Get either one you wont be disappointed.
Sarah Mclachlen-Mirrorball. Im a big fan of female performers. This is one stunning DVD. Video is top notch with few annoying edits. Audio is top notch and she puts on a great show.
Jewel-Live at Humphreys By the Bay. My favorite in my collection. I have been a Jewel fan since the beginning. This is a mostly acoustic set. The picture quality and edits is top notch and the sound is incredible, like shes right in front of you singing.
Heiney9"Appreciation of audio is a completely subjective human experience. Measurements can provide a measure of insight, but are no substitute for human judgment. Why are we looking to reduce a subjective experience to objective criteria anyway? The subtleties of music and audio reproduction are for those who appreciate it.
