Dude.....that entire floor of the house is one big subwoofer. I think you're risking some serious intestinal damage or something...not to mention hearing. Prolonged exposure to high dB's in the sub 20Hz range is like staring at the sun during an eclipse...it doesn't look as bright but will still burn your retinas. God help you, but do it anyway just to say you did.

I think before Ganzo builds any more subs, he really needs to get hooked on phonics, and drop the cookie-monster speak.

    Sony DVP-NS999ES - SACD player
    ADS 1230 - Polk SDA 2B
DIY Stereo Subwoofer towers w/(4) 12 drivers each
    Crown K1 - Subwoofer amp
    Outlaw ICBM - crossover
    Beringher BFD - sub eq

Where is the remote? Where is the $%#$% remote!

I don't think he can. I think the structure of his house will fail before the subs bottom.

I mean literally. What happens if any Subwoofer in the world bottoms out? Is it damaged or does it sound really bad for a split second?

As opposed to distortion where the sub is still very loud and rumbly just not very accurate.

When it bottoms, all rumble stops (think of putting your hand on a tuning fork and stopping the vibration) and there is a loud clacking noise. It will really scare the hell out of you.

It can damage your sub and for sure is not good for it. I think it just depends on how hard it bottoms and the quality of the sub you are starting with. Most subs can survive bottoming once or twice. If it happens often, your woofer is not long for this world. (last part is all imo)
