after i get my tax money i will be getting going on my project.
4 Avalanche 18 Subwoofers in a ib manafold. i am thinking of getting a 3400 wat amp to drive them

here is a rough pic of my ht not to scale but would this work as ib the door is slated to meet fire code.the sub is under the stairs.

    you won't need that much power to push those drivers to xmax in an IB.

    The real question is: will you be able to turn it DOWN to reference level?

    the displacement of this sub will be 26 liters my old sub is 8 liters i am ready for bass till the end of the month i will olny be feeding them 500 watss with will get me 1/2 way to x max but by the end of the month i will 3400 wats and all your bass belongs to us.

    i will take alot of pics each box weighs 57lbs and i have 4 comeing. my sub will be over 200 lbs just in speakers

    i never broke my polk sign. i have a new pwc it is PWC-IYNH. but i have bottomed out my sub twice on LOTR and that is it.

    just got my subs i cant find the digital camera but i w2ill get pics when i get off of work at 10 tonight they are massave i think i hurt my self lifting all the subs.

    hell i am haveing a party this weekend. my sub wont be finished but the subs will be on display. if i go 21 in on center i will be at a 7 foot at 24 in on center it will be 8 feet long for the manafold. i am bulding the fraim out of a 2X6. i am going to bolt it to the floor and put some diag braces. sence the fraim will suport the wall to. it is not structal.

    do you think you will ever use those subs to their full potential? couldn't you reach your limits with just 2 of those things?
