Oris 150/ Aer Md-2 Reference Ultra

DIY 106 db efficient - anyone had a chance to hear them at an interest club meet?

    do speakers like that have good imaging? do you have to sit right in the sweet spot for it to sound good?

    Sorry, I don't know - I've never heard them and was in hopes that someone here had. I would imagine off-axis listening is not going to be optimal (nor is it with any of my SDA's), but imaging should be excellent. The super efficiency and crossoverless (hope that's a real word) design is what I find appealing for low power, tube amplification.

    Perhaps that's why I'm drawn to them? :D

    The phase plugs for these are, if I recall, solid bronze. These don't appear to have the matching bronze crowns - which make the array look like the tail fin on the Batmobile.
