Mx-700

So I got real tired, real fast of having to use two hands to hold my LCD RAV2000 remote and not getting the tactile feedback from a touch screen. I ordered the Harmony 659 but returned it for several reasons; buttons too small, couldn't build custom macros, and the website that actually programs the remote left something to be desired. I sent off for the HTM MX-700 and this baby kicks butt!! Macros, programming software, plenty of .mxd and .mxf files on Remote Central....now if I could only find the IR code for "get ur a$$ up here bring me a beer!!!"

I owned 2 prontos in the tsu1000 and tsu3000. I like the MX series remotes better.
I own the Mx850.

agreed, MX-700 kick ****! it came with B&K Ref50 on mine, it is much better than my Sony AV3000, which is decent, if they make it smaller.I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

I hate the Pronto remotes. I'd rather have no graphics and spend the money on something that works well and looks good.
The HTM remotes are very good along with the Harmony remotes. Harmony is a better bang for the buck IMO.Brian Knauss

The Pronto remotes aren't bad , actually they are the most flexable remotes under a grand.
But you have to be into pretty graphics and want to take the time to import in pic's and such.
My tsu1000 served me flawless for 5 years. Every time I upgraded it was there for me. It controlled everything perfect.
I perfer the Mx series for the size and ease of use. I like the way it looks works and feels.
