subwoofer is picking up FM signals

Hi
I keep my subwoofer (RM7200 system) in the "auto" position.
When I am not playing anything (TV or DVD), the subwoofer picks up a FM station (ESPN radio) and the sound is pretty clear! The words come out distinctly.
Obviously, this is extremely irritating. The sound goes off only if I switch off the sub.
THe sound persists even if I disconnect the sub cable from my receiver.
What options do I have apart from returning the amplifier to POlk (as suggested by the customer service rep from Polk)?
thanks

Try moving to sub to a new location..maybe you can pick up a rock & roll station instead.
Seriously, if Polk CS said to return it for repair that's your best bet. -

It could be bad shielding on your interconnect cable. Try disconnecting the cable at the sub not the receiver. If it stops then try another cable, if it does not, then its in the sub.>

Call CS again, and get RMA authorization.
You will be sending the amp to CA, if you want it fixed. This is a known issue.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint. -
thanks for the link.
Its clear that other ppl have also faced an issue with the amp.
will send it to CS.
I had also tried unhooking all the cables but nothing worked out.
My power cord is also connected to a surge protector - 3 prong to 2 prong connector with proper grounding.
The POlk CS guys says that no RMA is required
thanks
