What do you guys think would be the best way to connect my sub subwoofer to my system. The following are the speakers and receiver I have to work with.
Mains = Monitor 10Bs, set to large
Center = CSi40, set to small
Rears = FXi30, set to small
Sub = PSW404
Receiver = Yamaha HTR-5250
Currently I have the sub hooked up to the receiver with a single shielded RCA cable running from the sub out of the receiver to the LFE in on the sub with the sub crossover frequency set to the max. (180Hz). It sounds fine but I keep hearing / reading the sub should be connected to the left and right main line outs from the receiver to the two line ins on the sub.
Thanks!
