My experience with CV's is that they are just loud and annoying. Great for parties or whatever, but I would never advice anybody to purchase them for thier home setup.

The MX-400 had a sensitivity rating of either 104 or 107db.

Designed for the heavy metal listener with not much amp power. They were not designed to sound sweet. They were designed to be loud with very little input. The tweeter circuit breaker is there for a reason. That reason being trying to drive the amp with MUCH too little power.

    Case closed.

I like mine, I'm sure you like yours.

In the event YOU don't like YOUR opinion, well, that's a problem.

Thanks for chiming in, and never forget, I love you too!

    Mr. Grand,

I don't have the pleasure to meet you yet, but I have no doubt in my mind, having a decent brandy and a montecristo with you would be a blast.

please carry on, I just have to make a quick comment since somehow I get a grin of visualising GG delivered his last statement!

    :)
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

Thank you sir, you are much too kind.

A couple glasses of cognac, a Montecristo for you, and some Luckies for me, sounds like a good deal someday.

You parted his cheeks for that **** kiss like few others before you, AND mixed in some horrendous english for good measure. Case closed.

There, I was bombastic and loud also. Would you like to have a drink with me, too?

Because I found it sad, Troy. Weep with me.

Come on GG, don't advise him so. I'll even play an Andrew Dice Clay tape while we drink. Can you offer him that?

    well, well.

I am sorry that you feel the way that you felt. I am merely giving credit where credit is due, and don't even have an opinion on your CVs. It was a classic delivery, period. If you feel the need to win by adding insults, then please take your medal and move on.

There's nothing subjective about comedy or speakers! It wasn't classic in either content or delivery! Case closed!

Actually, I apologize to you. I shouldn't have responded, but I felt GG's black and white assertiveness was a bit over the top and it puzzled me that someone else would support it. Sorry for the childish insult.

    L & C,

I'm loud and I'm bombastic. I don't NEED the ADC tape. Now for the question...

    Would you be my Valentine?

    You can be on top all you want, but you're still going to be catching. ;>}

If it's any consolation, I'll be bringing all of my Cerwin Vega speakers with me. I mean, I know how you like the deepest of bass response. :p

    L&C,

no need to apologize, none taken. Now, I am going back to tweak my sub, nothing like watching Braveheart for the nth times, next, Band of Brothers. Cheers.

You can leave the speakers at home. Just bring that awesome sense of humor, and something skimpy to wear.
