Ok guys, it's 19 degrees with a windchill of 7.

I checked on weather.com and International Falls, Minnesota is -20 with a windchill of -37!

Sucks to be them!

Ron-P, you suck A$$ with your 67 degrees!!! ;)

The digital thermometer in the truck says it's about 16 degrees here right now. With the 20 mph wind gusts, that puts windchills into negative numbers. Not as cold as Minnesota or Canada but cold enough!

Well its about 14º down here around 500 or so miles SOUTH of you guys....and the bad part is that it's about 64º in MY house. I just woke up and found my heat pump isn't working right. I've got the emergency heat going now so we won't get too cold. I guess I get to call the service guy tomorrow. And to think...it was 70º here last Thurs.

There are some MEN(i.e. Crazy) in this bunch that have to work in this weather.

You office jockey's, no offense of course, but I'm very cold, can go f*ck yourself.

If you can't stand the heat or cold, you should have been discharged or refused entry in the first place.

Luckily I don't. I served my military duty above Arctic Circle and those 2-3 hours of sleep we got while in camp we slept either in a tent or out in the snow. -40C, even -50C on some nights. Nothing worse than having your rubber boots fail on you and suck in some snow. Makes for a very uncomfortable day when your feet are wet in -40 weather.

30F Texas weather doesn't seem that bad now.

Hey, it's tough in the office. This morning it was below 70 degrees when I walked in. I had to use the space heater to bring it up to 72 degrees! I don't know what you are complaining about, the rest of us have it bad too!

I wish I could knock down my cubicle walls to see the outside view. A shame they don't clean the windows around here. There's a balcony on our floor but they lock the doors, I think they figure someone will jump off. Gonna be 84 today, toasty

It was 2 this morning when I woke up in Chicago. That is without the windchill, which probably made the temp around -15.

-6.8 Last night b/4 going to bed -
the wife's car door froze shut - had to get in on the passenger side. Good thing I work in the maintenance dept., was able to pull it into the bay last night and let it thaw out under the overhead heater - sprayed some WD-40 in the lock plug - good as new! Still colder than **** out though - don't think it's even made it into the teens yet today......

Our garage door wouldnt open this morning....

The joints were frozen or something, even when I disconnected the motor.... the thing was incredibly hard to bring up... it usually flys up and down, but even when I got it up, I had to pull it back down...

    Insanely cold this morning...

Yeah, it was brutal as hell in my office today. I had to actually walk down this warm hallway to get some coffee that had just finished brewing. Then I had to sit in a comfy chair and tic tic tic away on the keyboard.

OH THE DAMN PAIN OF IT ALL!!! :o
