I ordered from Crutchfield:

Polk RTi6 (for fronts) in cherry,
Polk RTi4 (for surround) in cherry,
Polk CSi5 (center) in cherry,
and Polk PSW404.

I got the subwoofer discount, and ended up using the 6 months same as cash. Now I just need to tell my wife! :)

Hopefully she won't be

    this will soften it ;)

Congrats! What receiver are you going to go with? I've seen a few people that are favoring the Denon's over the Onkyo over the last few days. I guess it is a personal choice. Since you found a good deal on the Onkyo, you might still want to go with it.

    Enjoy your new setup.

Every few months, Polk will allow retailers to offer a discount. For a while it was 10% off speakers. Recently it was "Buy $499 worth of speakers, get a PSW10(or equivalent or $200 towards another Polk sub) for free. They seem to do this about every 6 months or so and it will last for 2 or 3 months. There might be other discounts, but these are the ones I have seen over the last few years.

Here is the deal I worked out with the wife...Last January I bought my HK receiver, RTi6, RT15, and the 303 sub. In March or April I got an awesome deal on the FXi3s through outpost. She then banned me from buying, talking, or even hinting about buying anything else for the stereo around her for the rest of the year. This January I picked up the CSi5 and a pair of R30s for a different room. Again, banned from buying, talking or hinting about stereo equipment around her. Next year I plan on upgrading the sub or if I can find them, buy a pair of RTi8s. It all works out.

Well she didn't kill me :) and was almost understanding. I have been wanting to get some new speakers for the past 2 years, but always put them off for other projects.

She did just get new snow tires... think that counts? ;)

They show up Friday, so I'll have them hooked up (at least to my old receiver and wires). Unless I decided to try out the Onkyo from Circuit City....
