Can anyone give me a model comparison for the Denon line of receivers. I know that some places will carry a version with one model number, and another place will carry the same receiver with a different model number. If anyone knows where I can find this info, let me know.

Have you tried Denon's website? It gives detailed info on each receiver.HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50 LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub

I think it's best to shop at the actual model number stores instead of a copy of the same.......wierd things go on for some reason. Most of the time one or 2 things get left off for money reasons.
Tweeter carries the correct straight out line of Denon receivers. The avr3805 is the avr3805.Dan

Actually, Denon has their regular full line, and then they have a "Specialtly Line." The Specialty Line is identical to the regular line except they change the model number ever so slightly. For instance, the AVR985 is the AVR2805 exactly. They do this for marketing reasons, and the retailers of the Specialty line can't carry anything over the 3805 and the 2910 dvd player.Never kick a fresh **** on a hot day.
