That's exactly what I was referring to about the commentator. You could tell one of them was a little embarrased of his collegues comment. Good for him.
Was I offended? No chance in hell. I actually laughed. It's funny.
There is something to be said by how far the game has gone downhill when this stuff is just accepted as OK. Compare him to Brett Favre and the fact they were both on the same field Sunday, but they come from 2 totally different eras and even Favre is a rarity now. Comparing the 2 is almost laughable and I'm not trying to at all. Moss had the better game. Whatever happened to graciousness? Fans are fans. I don't care how hard they may have been gunning on them, but having gone to games for years I never heard any overt vulgarity towards players. There's tons of kids around. Regardless the fans aren't getting paid millions of dollars to take abuse from players.
Did anyone watch William Henderson last week? He scores, drops the ball and runs back in the huddle for the extra point. That's class. I'm not asking that it be dialed back the much. The dances are fine, but cussing out the crowd is uncalled for. That's what the focus should be on and the fact that Moss is a piece of crap and he will never carry a team to the Super Bowl on his own, in fact I don't think he'll ever win one with any team. I'd be embarassed if he was on my team. -

That's the way to do it. Act like you've been there before and will get there again, as they say.
There are still a lot of good stories in football. You gotta like the way Drew Brees turned around his career, Peyton winning the MVP and doing it with class, the Steelers winning the close games with hard work and defence etc.Graham -
As far as I am concerned, I don't care if they ban all the stupid end zone celebrations and all the other strutting. It's a pain to watch clowns like Ray Lewis try to be Paula Abdul. Grown men don't (try to) dance.

Indianapolis Colts coach Tony Dungy said he saw Moss' action and, "I thought it was kind of humorous."
"It's not the kind of thing you want to see on national TV, but I understand what it was all about," he said.
"Anyone who has played in the NFC Central knows what that's about. The fans in Green Bay have a tradition in the parking lot after the game where they moon the visiting team's bus," he said. "It's kind of a unique send-off." -
Ummm... I don't know if people have seen the entire clip of Moss's little expose, but it was NOT simply a case of mooning the crowd. I think the networks may be only replaying part of his actions rather than the whole episode, thus all of the "so he mimiced mooning the crowd, no big deal..." comments I've been reading and hearing.
He pantomimed lowering his trousers, then defacating on the field, after which he "wiped his ****" on the Green Bay goal post.
A bit more than "hyuck hyuck, mooning" if you ask me.
I'd say what I really think of his actions (and I'm not a Green Bay fan), but I'm pretty darned sure it would be taken as a bigoted comment, so I'll just keep mum. -
I hope Philadelphia stuffs the classless, IQ-less, immature, common criminal punks head up his **** sideways. If he wasn't playing football he'd be working at a freakin' car wash or selling crack.2 channel - Willsenton R8 tube integrated, Holo Audio Spring 3 KTE DAC, audio optimized NUC7i5, Windows 10 Pro/JRiver MC29/Fidelizer Plus 8.7 w/LPS and external SSD drive, PS Audio PerfectWave P3 regenerator, KEF R3 speakers, Rythmik F12SE subwoofer, Audioquest Diamond USB cable, Gabriel Gold IC's, Morrow Audio SP5 speaker cables. Amazing I've never heard of the 'tradition'.
Isn't this the same Tony Dungy bitching about how he doesn't want to be on Monday Night Football anymore because of the Trashy Nicolette Sheridan & T.O. expose? How he doesn't want his kids seeing this trash? -
i still think it was pretty funny. and im POSITIVE no one in the crowd was yelling obscene things at Moss...i mean thats ludacris.
i think hes cocky and stuck up too, dont get me wrong. if i was his coach he wouldnt have been playing that game after what he did in the previous one.
but he didnt even moon them. give me a break. theyre just giving him more attention and hes going to keep doing it because he likes all the attention the press is giving him. now if he REALLY mooned them, then yes, i would be pissed. i think its retarded they made such a big deal out of nothing.

Since he now sports a big afro hairdo that covers his numb-skull, he was simply showing the world his brains from another angle...
Who cares what the crowd was or wasn't yelling at him?
He's a professional football player getting paid millions of dollars to catch an effin' ball...not act like a jackass. The crowd isn't Randy Moss. The crowd isn't holding up an image. Anyone acting like a knob in the crowd would get thrown out. Not to mention that ALL the seats that close to the field are season tickets. If someone acts like a jackass they get their season tickets stripped from them. Compare that to the couple of quarters (comparatively) that Moss will have to pay for his behavior.
There's a big difference between good natured ribbing and just acting like a total disgrace to the game. There's no class.....and I'm a little embarassed I even laughed at it. I truthfully wish the NFL would a put a stop to all this crap and start by benching people like this. The issue is bigger than Randy Moss and it's getting worse and worse.
The issue isn't what he did with his little dance. The issue for me is what he said......screaming the word 'Look at the Fu*king scoreboard' over and over again at the crowd. There are kids at the game. They look up to football players whether their parents want them to or not. There's a reason that jerseys sell so well. Randy Moss is a thug and a piece of trash. I couldn't give a rip less about his little celebration...It's everything after it and everything he's shown us since he's been in the league.
I don't know....I think everyone missing the point with this one. For me it has nothing to do with being an idiot. It has to do with cussing at the fans. Is Randy Moss a special case where it's just OK for him to do whatever he wants? Where do you draw the line? You say "I'm not saying...." This and that, but what does that mean? Stop defending the indefensible. -

I've actually come around to Demi's side of the argument on this one. At first I was just thinking we were all being oversensitive about it, but in reality, the fans are the ones paying him to play a game, and he's gonna swear at them? That's like me telling my boss to look at the f-ing sales numbers or something - it doesn't fly.
If all he did was faux moon people that'd be one thing, but I gotta say, if he did in fact swear at the crowd (which I haven't heard any accounts of; if someone can provide one that would be great) of paying customers, maybe it's time he joined Ricky Williams and killed himself with drugs. Or maybe he and Ron Artest can team up to completely abandon all of the fans in the entire country. If you will it, dude, it is no dream. -
i agree he shouldnt have cussed at all, but im sure it was provoked by the fans. thats all im saying. i understand there are kids at the game, im not condoning him.
but anyway, for the most part i was talking about the "moon"
i actually didnt see it b/c i was outside. went back inside and they were talking about him mooning the audience. i was like holy ****...he mooned them, thats horrible, yet funny...
then i saw the "moon." pretty stupid they made such a big deal out of it. too bad hes such a good player. when he was running for that TD pass you could see him limping and still caught the ball for a td, what a waste of talent
