Polk DB10-4 trouble?

I have a F-150 reg cab with one DB104 behind the seat downfiring in a sealed box. The internal volume is .80 cubic ft. I have a MTX RT2200 amp pushing 280 watts to the sub. At higher levels the sub makes a bottoming out noise. This sub is about 5 or 6 years old and I've never had a sub long enough to blow one. Is this sub going bad, or could it be something else?

TURN IT DOWN

GET A BIGGER SUB!!
Have a nice day! And welcome to the forum!- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
You're clipping the signal. So yea, turn it down. It doesn't have to do with the sub either... if you want to, get an amp with more power.Brian Knauss
