    i hate to admit it, but ive actually listened to one of her newer songs toxic, its not that bad. other than that i dont listen to anything by her. but to ask why no one picks on britney and they all pick on ashlee is because ashlees nose is as big as britneys ****...

    Because she wear small - specifically placed diomand outfits instead of actual clothes.

    Atleast, thats the way I see it.

    I don't know which was worse, seeing it on TV and watching her bounce around or hearing the replay on the radio and having to listen to that terrible voice.

    Someone told me that she said it was all the OU fans booing cause they weren't happy with the game. Dang! Those OU fans are loud! Sounded like the whole stadium was booing!

    I couldnt disagree more partner.

    Every single time I see Brittney perform (and I watch whenever I can cause shes damn hot!) she is always lipsyncing! I guarantee you the 99.9% of her voice is studio magic.

    At least Ashlee has the gonads to sing live...even if its because she got busted lip syncing.

    I think Roseanne Barr is the adult equivalent of Ashlee Simpson.

    I think Roseanne knew she sucked though... and hopefully was **** around with the "singing".

    On another note, the lead singer for 3 doors down didn't sound completely wonderful singing the anthem for the Sugar Bowl. Nowhere near the terrible-ness of Ashlee, but he was trying to add too much creativeness to it. Almost reminded me of that Simpsons episode where Bleeding Gums Murphy sang the anthem before the baseball game.

    AMEN! All of it, except that she's hot, I just don't feel too strongly on that one, I don't see her when I listen to the radio, :)

    I had a different take on the halftime show. I was watching it on our local ABC affiliate OTA in high definition, where the sound was in true Dolby Digital. There was booing going on before Ashlee Simpson even took the stage. Kelly Clarkson's mike wasn't working throughout virtually her entire set - you could plainly see that she could not hear herself in her monitor earplugs (a shame, because she actually CAN sing). Same thing with Adkins - the lead vocal mike/line was not functioning properly during his entire bit. You could hear him somewhat on the choruses, but the verses were virtually silent... and there was booing going on when that happened.

    The whole show was a debacle from an audio standpoint; the sound was hideous. I thought people were booing because they couldn't hear any of the singers, not just because Ashlee Simpson sucks.

    No matter how you slice it though, someone on the tech staff needed to be shitcanned...

    ABC was also having problems during the entire game, at least from what I was receiving. MANY times the audio just crapped out... would stay that way for about 5 seconds, and then come back on.
