CSI 5 Shielding problem

I have the CSI5 center channel speaker on top of a Sony Trinitron television and under the right speaker (facing the speaker) I get color distortion. When I move the speaker away from the televisoin, it goes away. I am wondering if the shielding in this speaker is messed up, or if it's just not made to be directly on top of the television the way I have it. Is there any way to fix this without having to move the speaker a foot above the tele?
Thanks for any assistance!

Call Polk customer service. They will be able to help. It should be able to sit on your tv without problems, although I believe the Sony Wega's Trinitrons are little more sensitive.
