And the Broncos nearly blew it, but a win is win. Droughns coughs up the ball twice in the first quarter, Plumber heaves a few interceptions....AGAIN, Tatum Bell starts out well than can't keep his feet or hang on to a simple pass in the end zone. Glad to see them win, but man it was FUGLY!!
Raiders lose, I'm all broken up about that.
What the hell happened to the Cowboys?
The Club Polk football pool is a booger this week. Did the point spreads kick anyone elses butt? Tough week for the Z-Man...Lizard-Boy is sure to move up in the ranks.

Heh, just watched the halftime highlights on ESPN. Looks like it+'s going to be an ugly week for Jake Plummer in Denver since he decided to flip off the Denver fans.
PS Who do the Rams think they are? The Chiefs? Doh! -

The Broncos just aren't the same team. They keep moving people around and it doesn't seem to get any better.
The way they started out the season, I figured a much better team. The last 4 games they didn't show up. That game yesterday I almost turned off.
It makes me mad to watch them.
All the losses to the offence hurts. Eddie is gone along with Shannon, Portis is running it in Washington , Mike Anderson I would love to watch run the ball again.Jake is Jake he shines one minute and stinks the next. I think he has all the talent to get it done but man......
I hope they at least squeak into the playoffsDan
My personal quest is to save to world of bad audio, one thread at a time. -
tied 28-28....go titans!!

Yeah me too. It will always be next year or year after next.:( We need a lot of help.
Did Jake really flip off the Denver fans? If so, that wasn't a good idea.

He did flash the bird, but it's really getting blown out of proportion. The local stations have been saying it was a Hi-Sign to a few loud mouth fans that were heckling him pretty hard. He should not have done it, but it's not like he did a victory lap or stood at mid-field and gave a one finger salute. A simple exposed finger while adjusting his cap on the sidelines.
In a way I feel bad for the guy. Too many people want to compare any Bronco QB to John Elway. Having seen Elway play I can tell you that there aren't any quarterbacks playing the game today that have that kind of talent. (I'm not knocking any of the guy's on anyone's favorite team, just stating my opinion.) It's going to be a long time before Denver fans are treated to another player of his caliber and anyone that takes a snap will be compared to him. Not fair, but that's the way it is here. We were spoiled rotten and now have to deal with a QB that's not as good. He's (Plumber) a good player, but there's just no comparison. -
I agree, Frank. There will never be another Elway, Marino, or Montana. Those were the great ones that you can't compare the QBs of today with. I like Jake and he is a good QB, but he has some big shoes to fill.:)Main Set-up: 55" 120 hz Samsung LN55B650, Onkyo TX-SR806, Emotiva XPA-5, Emotiva XPA-2, PS3 Slim, Sony BDP-S560, Apple TV (160g), Panamax M5300-PM, Polk Audio CSi5, RTi10's, FXi3's, RTi4's, and SVS PB12 Plus

Jake is too damn unreliable.
With Drew Brees going free agent after this season Shanahan should
really consider doing what he can to find a way to pick him up.
Hell, give up some running backs, he seems to be able to pull THEM out of his butt! -

My bad. I didn't forget about Brett or Peyton. Just naming some of the old farts from yester year!:D Peyton will break the TD pass record for sure. Twenty years from now, some one will speak this way about the current QBs. They will be great as the old ones, just not yet. Yes, he was. But, he is not an old **** yet because of his longevity! He is still going. Well, I can say that because we got an old **** for QB in Oakland.
